I'm a children's writer based in Fife. I studied at the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow. I was awarded the Mairi Hedderwick Writing for Children Bursary from Moniack Mhor in 2015 and was Children's Writer in Residence at Wigtown Book Festival the same year. My first children's book, The Girl Who Lost Her Shadow, won the Kelpies Prize for new Scottish children's writing in 2017.

I am currently teaching at primary schools in Fife, whilst trying to grow vegetables and writing strange magical stories.
